Twenty-three musicians, dancers and singers from ten countries who speak different languages transform their variegated roots and cultures into one single language: music. Following the success of their Magic Flute production, The Orchestra gives a romantic and dreamy treatment to George Bizet’s Carmen, an opera that symbolizes overwhelming, passionate and impossible love. In the midst of companies of gypsies arriving in the city and happy soldiers who pretend to maintain order, Don José and his Brazilian rhythms face off against Escamillo and his Arabic melodies to win the love of the eccentric Carmen.

– The show is produced by Accademia Filarmonica Romana, Vagabundos and Teatro Olimpico

– Subtitled in English.

– There will be a screening of an award winning documentary about the Orchestra on March 1st at the Bahrain Fort Museum at 7:00 P.M.
