About

Formula 1’s favourite night race is back and Bahrain International Circuit is happy to host another brilliant spectacle under the desert stars.

“The Home of Motorport in the Middle East” will be front and centre once again on the international stage, with the 2018 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix grabbing the global spotlight from April 6 to 8 next year.

The Sakhir event will mark the second of 21 rounds on the 2018 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, following the season-opening meeting in Australia.

Motorsport’s elite will be lining up on the grid for another epic 57-lap battle, including superstar talents such as Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas, Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen, Fernando Alonso, Daniel Ricciardo, Max Verstappen and so many more.

Aside from Formula 1, a number of international support series will also be taking to the tarmac; while a wide variety of off-track family entertainment will keep race-goers coming back for more throughout the three-day extravaganza.

The 2017 Bahrain Grand Prix saw a record crowd of 33,000 on race day and 93,000 over the weekend, with the Main Grandstand, Paddock Club and corporate boxes all sold out for the first time ever. Expect an even greater turnout in 2018 as the popularity of motorsport in the region, spearheaded by the Bahrain race, reaches an all-time high.
