Tinariwen (“Deserts” in the Tuareg language), an acclaimed Grammy Awardwinning group of pioneering musicians from the Sahara Desert region of northern Mali formed in 1979, presents a selection of their groundbreaking works which showcase their singularly unique and original sound and melancholic tunes, dubbed “African Blues”.
