Leading Middle East art expert Mona Khazindar will present her newly published book Visions from Abroad, Historical and Contemporary Representations of Saudi Arabia.

The former director general of the Institut du monde arabe (Arab World Institute) in Paris, France will present her book, which is an important addition to the library of Middle Eastern Art and specifically that of the Arabian Gulf region.

The publication constitutes the first world view of Arabia as seen by authors and artists with the common characteristic of being born outside the peninsula who were able to venture in the region return with the rare texts and images that form the subject of this publication.

Following the talk, the author will sign the book available at the Bahrain National Museum giftshop.
